Natalie’s last summer in her small Kentucky hometown is off to a magical start…until she starts seeing the “wrong things.” They’re just momentary glimpses at first—her front door is red instead of its usual green, there’s a pre-school where the garden store should be. Nothing, except Natalie and Beau.
When I first saw this novel I fell hard for this cover. It has this Alice in Wonderland, down the rabbit whole feel to it and it’s just so pretty with the universe all around the sunset and water that I was ready to buy it then. But then I read the synopsis and I just fell harder! It first reminded me of the movie “In Your Eyes” with Zoe Kazan, until I kept reading and realized that this was something different, and sooooooo exciting that I just went:
