Stacking the Shelves: #2

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by  Tynga’s Reviews, where you share the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

You have so many wonderful additions. I absolutely love The Book Thief!Which edition is that though? Is that the 10th anniversary one? I also enjoyed November 9. The Woman in Black and the unbecoming of Mara dyer look pretty interesting too.Enjoy all your books!

Thank you! It’s the Reader’s Guide edition, I think. I haven’t read The Book Thief yet, but I loved the movie so I’m gonna read it soon.

I’m skeptical about November 9…I don’t even know why lol. They do look cool, cannot wait to read them.

Thank you, Diana! Do you have any new books?

I hope that you will enjoy reading The Book Thief.I liked the movie but not as much as the book. Why are you hesitant about November 9?

I haven’t bought any books this week buy I got Jane Eyre from the library which I’m reading.I also got a couple of ARCs from NetGalley.

Me too 🙂 I really don’t even know. I don’t read a whole lot of contemporary romance-type novels, so maybe that’s why. I LOVE Jane Eyre, it’s my favorite book (along with Their Eyes Were Watching God) and it’s literally beautiful.

Oh I love Their Eyes were watching God.I watched the movie like 5 times before I found out about the book. Its really good.I’m only 10% into Jane Eyre but definitely enjoying it so far.Any other classic that you would recommend?

      • Codie says:

Isn’t it 🙂 It had so much heart and soul, but was written with a very classic touch. I’ve actually never seen the movie haha, I’m guessing it was good if you watched it so many times. Umm…I enjoyed Animal Farm, Night by Elise Weisel (I’m positive I spelled that wrong), And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie, Pride and Prejudice……I can’t think of anymore right now, though. Do you have any good ones?

      • Diana says:

I plan on reading Pride and Prejudice next.I have heard some good things about it. I haven’t read many classics.Actually To Kill a Mockingbird is the only one that I can recommend. Thanks for the recommendations, I will also check out the other 3 that you mentioned:-)

Great! I really hope you enjoy Jane Eyre and Pride and Prejudice, they’re two wonderful books. I really have to read To Kill a Mockingbird. You’re probably the 10th person to recommend that and I keep putting it off lol. I’m gonna try and get to it before the end of this year 🙂
