TV Tuesday | Dexter

‘Ello, this is the TV Tuesday Meme! It’s quite simple, every Tuesday you’ll do these things:

Choose between these three:

  • Book-to-Movie/TV show adaptation (have you seen it? If no, do you plan to?)
  • Book you think should be a movie/TV show  (Why?)
  • Movie/TV show that prompted you to read a book?

*Optional – put up the trailer

  • Link back to your post in the comments section (so I can stalk your post ;D)

Book-to-Movie/TV show adaptation

Dexter is a television series featuring a serial killer named, Dexter. Yep, congratulations America you’ve finally done it. So, Dexter is a very dark comedy, thriller that alters our perception of right and wrong. Ultimately, Dexter is a serial killer, however, we love him. He only kills according to a code that insures innocents lives are not taken – what the heck have you done lately (hehe). Throughout the show (which ending sucks BTW, sorta spoilery) we’re taken through the internal and external conflict of Dexter working for law enforcement, yet, being a serious criminal. This series is based on the Dexter Series by Jeff Lindsay.
