TV Tuesday

Tuesday

‘Ello, this is the TV Tuesday Meme! It’s quite simple, every Tuesday you’ll do these things:

Choose between these three:

  • Book-to-Movie/TV show adaptation  (have you seen it? If no, do you plan to?)
  • Book you think should be a movie/TV show  (Why?)
  • Movie that prompted you to read a book?

*Optional – put up the trailer

Lastly:

Movie that prompted you to read a book?

The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien is one of those novels you shouldn’t go your life without ever reading, however I didn’t read it until after I saw the movie. It’s a story overflowing with adventure, childlike humor and amazement in the eyes of Bilbo Baggins of Bag-End. There’s trolls, dwarfs, hobbits, goblins, and other fantastical elements that engender an extremely vivid picture that’s so magical. This novel is a wonderful bedtime story (trust me – I’ve done it on more than one occasion), and the audiobook is very fun to listen.
