TV Tuesday Meme

Tuesday

‘Ello, this is the TV Tuesday Meme! It’s quite simple, every Tuesday you’ll do these things:

Choose between these four:

  • Book-to-Movie/TV show adaptation  (have you seen it? If no, do you plan to?)
  • Book you think should be a movie/TV show  (Why?)
  • Movie that prompted you to read a book?
  • A movie you thought was a book
  • Optional – put up the trailer

Lastly:

  • Link back to your post in the comments section (so I can stalk your post ;D)

Fight Club was one of those movies that alter you perception of incredible cinema. With an outstanding cast, director, and overall plot, Fight Club was essentially a masterpiece of epic proportions. It’s psychological mind twister and showcases a gritty, dirty, post-apocalyptic-like setting that you get lost in. This terrible world that’s so messed up….just watch it!

Summary:

A depressed man (Edward Norton) suffering from insomnia meets a strange soap salesman named Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt) and soon finds himself living in his squalid house after his perfect apartment is destroyed. The two bored men form an underground club with strict rules and fight other men who are fed up with their mundane lives. Their perfect partnership frays when Marla (Helena Bonham Carter), a fellow support group crasher, attracts Tyler’s attention.
Trailer:

Horrible trailer for a wonderful movie.

This is a really cool idea! I’ve seen Fight Club, but I should probably get around to reading the book.

Thank you 🙂 I have to be honest, the book wasn’t as good as the movie. They sorta revealed the twist at the beginning of the book instead of waiting. If you do get around to it I’d love to read your review.

Awesome!! I really hope to do this at some point- it looks so good! Also I love the movie Fight Club- although I really annoyed the person I was watching it with by guessing the twist really early on :p
