“Look like the innocent flower,
But be the serpent under it.”
“Life … is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
For some reason these two of my favorite lines from Macbeth – I love Shakespeare! He’s so smooth and rich in his words, along with his ability to create awesome villains makes him one of my favorite writers. Now, Macbeth isn’t my favorite Shakespeare play but it was so dark a lyrical that I just fell in love with his writing…more than the story accompanying it. In school I dissected, analyzed and wrote about this book until my hands bled (like a spot; “Out, damned spot! out, I say!” hehe) and I didn’t want to read this book again, but this movie adaptation gives me a reason to refresh.
Starring Michael Fassbender (which is a reason in itself to see it) and Marion Cotillard this movie looks fantastic. I admit that I have not seen it yet and I don’t see Michael Fassbender being an innocent flower EVER, this movie still oozes with darkness and wonderful cinematography.

Look out for my review of Macbeth sometime next year!
